Blackjack Dealer Bust Percentages
Playing online Blackjack is always fun and rewarding. Thousands of online Blackjack players – including myself – love this game so much because with the right strategy it is not hard to beat the house at all. Blackjack is also much less complicated than poker because we only need to focus on the dealer’s hand.
Statistics is very important in the world of online Blackjack. The famous Blackjack matrix is based on statistical information gathered by many Blackjack players; that is why the available basic Blackjack matrix is very effective both online and offline. Another important statistical information you should understand is of course the dealer bust percentages.
Depending on the dealer’s open card, you can determine the likeliness of the dealer going bust and for you to win the round. This particular statistical information is very useful when you face difficult situations, such as when you have a hand of 17 and your options are limited.
When the dealer’s card is showing a 2, the bust percentage is around 35%. With an open card of 3, the bust percentage is increased to 37%. 4, 5, and 6 have bust percentages of 40%, 42%, and 42% respectively.
The dealer is in relatively good position if the open card is showing a 7 and above. With 7, 8, 9, and 10 (or any of the face cards), the dealer’s bust percentages are around 26%, 24%, 23% and 23% respectively. It is still good for you, but you should plan your moves carefully. With an open card of an Ace, the bust percentage is reduced greatly to only 17%.
